Fellow paper lovers, gather ‘round for the feel-good origin story of Sheila Kitts Paperie—a tale of heartfelt connections, gorgeous stationery, and a backyard startup that totally leveled up.

It all started in 2019, when Sheila set up shop in a tiny building out back, armed with a few Etsy listings and a dream. Fast forward a bit, and we’re now a Top 1% Etsy Shop, rocking it on Amazon, sheilakitts.com, and stores across America!

Jessica joined the team in 2021, and together they’ve been on a mission to keep the handwritten note alive and thriving. We may have outgrown Sheila’s backyard, but don’t worry—we still hand-craft and ship every order with love (and sometimes, Sheila’s three sons help out, too—because free labor, right?).

Today, Sheila Kitts Paperie keeps growing and evolving, offering an ever-expanding collection of stationery designed to help people stay connected. Because let’s face it, there’s nothing like a handwritten note to remind you that someone out there cares enough to sit down, grab a pen, and send you a little piece of their heart.

Responsible Choices

Here are a few ways we at Sheila Kitts Paperie do our best to make responsible choices. We definitely aren't perfect and are always looking for ways to improve. Currently,

- our packaging is 99% plastic free (on product, the stationery boxes, have a plastic lid)

- our mailing boxes are padded inside with remnants from the printing process. It's a little messy but we hope you don't mind!

- we choose paper that is Rain Forest Council certified and 70% recycled.

- we recycle all cardboard boxes (and trust me, there are a LOT)
